Footwork and Frames

Wanted to educate.. some footwork .. to the newer to PC building members of our group with a few thoughts on graphics card vendors, namely AMD and Nvidia.


AMD price for punch performance is quite the heavyweight, their cards deliver better performance than the Nvidia equivalents (at retail prices, although the 660 nonTI, and 650ti boost, are an amazing mid range bargain right now). but Nvidia has a southpaw that leaves AMD's head spinning.. Nvidia has 7% less microstutter, that might not sound like much but it means that you consistently get 7% smoother experience in terms of games.


So what I'm saying is... frame for frame the AMD range will give out more frames, but when the going gets tough and your system has frame drops, its will be bad, coz AMD is on the ropes punching himself out, but Nvidia's still got that southpaw, but that might cost you a hot dinner. make up your own mind. peace.
